St. Paul's Church

Saint Paul’s Church was built in years 1911-1912 by the design of Johannes Franciscus Klomp from Dortmund. In the design one may find many citations from the German Roman architecture. The object’selevation was beautifully mastered by putting many bas relieves with the images of Saint and Jesus.

Also unique copper helmets of the towers attracts attention. In front of the facade of the church there are located two huge statues representing Saint Florian and Saint Barbara , the patron saints of Silesian workers. The statues were performed by the Bytomian artist Mathias Beule.
